ECU Re-Map Software Upgrade Stage 1 and Software Upgrade Stage 2
We have extensive experience in completely changing the way a Defender 2.2 TDCi, 2.4 TDCi and 2.5 TD5 performs. For instance, on a 2.2 TDCi, our basic Software Upgrade Stage 1 takes power from 122bhp to 160bhp, torque from 360Nm to 454Nm, and the Software Upgrade Stage 2 to 183bhp/486Nm.
We can make considerable improvements in the performance of your Range Rover. For instance, a Software Upgrade for a 3.0TD6 (2002-07) will take it from 173bhp to 218bhp, and 390Nm to 488Nm. Meanwhile, we can take a 2012-on 5.0 Supercharged petrol to 532bhp/646Nm from 510bhp/625Nm. Fundamentally, we can significantly enhance the performance of any Range Rover model, petrol or diesel.
RANGE ROVER SPORT
Whatever we can do for a Range Rover, we can also do for a Range Rover Sport. That means considerable improvements in performance. For instance a software upgrade for a 2.7 TDV6 (2005 - 10) will take it from 197 bhp to 235 bhp, and 344 Nm to 575 Nm. Meanwhile, we can take a 2012-on 5.0 Supercharged petrol to 532 bhp/646 Nm from 510 bhp/625 Nm. Fundamentally, we can considerably enhance the performance of any Range Rover model, petrol or diesel.
The Discovery is about practicality and capability. Towing is an important consideration. Investing in a Software Upgrade for a Discovery 2 2.5 TD5 (2002-05) will take it from 135bhp/340Nm to 170bhp/375Nm. At the other end of the spectrum, we can take a Discovery 4 (2012+) from 255bhp/600Nm to 285bhp/715Nm. Meanwhile, with the Discovery Sport 2.2 SD4 we can move things on from 190bhp/420Nm to 233bhp/495Nm.
The Evoque is about fun. For the 2.2 SD4 we can move things on from 190bhp/420Nm to 233bhp/495Nm. For the 2.0SI4 our Software Upgrade means 240bhp becomes 265bhp and 340 Nm ups to 380 Nm. The upgrade includes a JE developed performance ECU remap and to ensure maximum air flow we also include an ITG performance air filter element. Fantastic value giving your earlier spec Evoque current spec performance.
In many circles, Freelander is the new workhorse, a go-to vehicle for outdoors-types, country life, boating and equestrianism. More grunt, acceleration, and towing capability. For the Freelander 2 2.2 SD4 we can move things on from 190bhp/420Nm to 233bhp/495Nm. On a 2006-14 2.2 TD4, our basic Tune takes power from 150bhp to 180bhp, torque from 420Nm to 455Nm.
Such is the nature of the design of the Range Rover Classic that we are not restricted to the range of enhancements and tunes we can provide because it was not originally designed with sophisticated electronics. This means getting different components “talking” to one another via ECUs, which can otherwise be time-consuming, is less of an issue. Just about any V8 can be installed in a Classic.
Our V8 conversions include Rover V8 4.5 (originally 3.5, 3.9 or 4.2), 4.8 or 5.0 litre (originally 4.0 or 4.6) engines, and, depending upon whether carburettors or fuel injection are specified on the Rover V8, a reliable 250-350bhp, and 400-450Nm. JLR and Roush V8 installations take matters into an entirely different dimension with outputs of up to 650bhp and 800Nm. A range of gearboxes can be mated to the powerplants, including the JE-developed Ford 6-speed Tiptronic to the Rover V8. These are very much bespoke installations, and we would need to meet with you to discuss package and price.
